Despite dire warnings of impending rain (50% chance as of thursday night) the weather was perfect and the attendance was high. We even had guests from out of state make the trip! DAK is your tank battle destination! Our club’s newest members hit the ground running and we had a great afternoon with temps in the 70’s. Battles were 9 on 9 for most of the day and a new M51, Leopard 2, KV2, KV1, and JagdPanther made their field debut. Thanks again to all the peeps who attended and made the event a success.
Another first for DAK was the HL IR improptu battle between two new members tanks. The KV 1 and Jagdpanther traded shots between battles. Most of us will stick to our Tamiya gear.......
We added sand and modified several of the terrain features to improve the lay of the land. New European buildings are under way and the club managed a good clean up and organization of the shed. Thanks to everyone who set up early and cleaned up!
