Despite more dire warnings of impending rain (20% chance as of thursday night) the weather was perfect and only dampened by cold winds late in the afternoon. Our club’s newest members continued to impress and offer their hard work to set up and maintain the field. Battles were 6 on 6 for most of the day and a new T34, reworked Sherman Firefly, HL Jagdpanther and a few new buildings made their field debut. Special nod to XO Craig Pierce for his new build Church he finished instead of his Elefant!

Greg Dahlgren stepped up and completed more obstacles for the field. He will be the proud owner of his first Tamiya tank soon. Dave Jones made the event despite broken ribs.... purple heart again!

We added sand and modified several of the terrain features to improve the lay of the land. We are also working to make the IFA experience more consistent and add a few more modern vehicles. The coolest add was the Egyptian paint scheme T34/85 to battle my M51. Soon comes.... JUMBO!
