The gang was here to enjoy mild weather and good tanking. We started the day with another round of tank Olympics. This event is an obstacle course requiring the commander to knock over flags and kill a tank sitting in a depression. Who new this would be the hardest part of the hobby on equipment and the field. The $317 PZIII had a remarkable showing in this event until loose soil in the Kasserine pass caused a thrown track. I am proud to say my SU-122 now holds the course record of 3:21. Doug’s Panther is #2 with 3:29.
We have a good group of core individuals who always make the event fun and worth the work we put in to make this crazy event happen.
