M10 Tank Destroyer gets a British Twist!

US Lend Lease material kept Allied nations in the fight. Sometimes the equipment recieved did not totoally suit the ally and modifications and adaptations were the way forward. Great Britain's  "upgrade" of the M10 Tank Destroyer was to replace the 3 inch (76MM) gun with their own 17 pdr hi-velocity cannon. The inital -1C version used the original M10 turret with an updated mantlet to accept the thinner gun tube and a counterweight on the gun barrel. Later models included the M10A1 with V-8 engine and the revised "duck billed" turret. Most of the -IIc models had this turret and the later M10/M36 Hull with no armor bosses.  My version will be an early-mid production Achilles IIc.

Project is based on a super cheap HengLong hull I bought online. I added metal tracks and some other bits to beef it up.
