Russian tanks were green, And there were a lot of them. The color shade did vary from manufacturer to Manufacturer, and Individual units applied camoflage suited to local battlefields. ThE COLOR RANGE went from OLIVE GREEN TO DARK GREEN and the differences in pigments, oxidation, and weathering lead to a large variety of the “true” shade. For our effort we will look at on over all green scheme that we will refer to as “R.A.G”.
